Meetings

Leadership Team meetings, VISTA Forums and Division of Instruction Updates generally take place in the Superintendent's Conference Room, ESC-1, Suite 206, 15701 E. 1st Ave., Aurora, CO 80011.

  • Weekly Leadership Team Meetings
    The Leadership Team conducts its regular business and invites subject experts to provide background and information about agenda items. Meetings generally take place on Tuesdays from 8-11 a.m.
  • VISTA Forums
    In sessions called VISTA Forums, the Leadership Team meets with other staff, and representatives from the Aurora Education Association, Classifed Employee Council and School Executives of Aurora. The forums also include APS Directors of Student Achievement and the Director of Curriculum and Professional Learning. VISTA Forums take place monthly on Thursdays from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
  • Division of Instruction Updates
    In sessions called Division of Instruction Updates, the Leadership Team meets with the APS Directors of Student Achievement and other instructional staff. Division of Instruction Updates take place monthly on Thursdays from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Trust, Teamwork and Transparency

The APS Leadership Team follows regular communication practices. After collecting feedback from classified, admin/PT and licensed staff, the School Executives of Aurora Board and the APS Communication Team refined these practices into written communication protocol. The goal is to increase Trust, Teamwork and Transparency.
